§ Brief overview of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern federated state

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: this federated state is called the largest bath in Germany, as it has the longest sea coastline and many lakes (about 2000). Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is a sparsely populated state, with only one large city there.

Despite the fact that this federated state is located in northern Germany, there are many sunny days there. The state attractions include: the Schwerin Castle (also known as the Schwerin Palace) in the City of Schwerin and the “King’s Chair” chalk cliff in the form of a throne (in German: Königsstuhl) on the Island of Rügen (in German: Rügen). The Müritz (in German: Müritz) is the largest lake in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Agriculture plays an important role in the economy of the federated state , as well as the port of Rostock and the production of clean energy.
